DATADVANCE has joined the Russian National Supercomputer Technology Platform, becoming its 240th member since this group’s creation in 2010.
Supported by Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development, the platform is a voluntary association of organizations and companies from the country’s scientific, manufacturing and academic areas that are involved in the development or use of high-performance computing. Its purpose is to help modernize Russia’s economy by supporting and driving scientific, research and innovative development.
The MACROS software – which is marketed by the DATADVANCE joint venture of EADS Innovations Works and Russian investors – is utilized to reduce design time and the costs of complex engineering tasks.
With the solutions provided by its MACROS and PSE software, DATADVANCE intends to actively participate in the Russian National Supercomputer Technology Platform’s mission.
DATADVANCE is a joint venture between Russian investors and the EADS Innovation Works research and technology arm of the EADS Corporate Technical Office. EADS Innovation Works performed the original validation and acceptance of MACROS, confirming its capabilities and the software’s usability for applications within EADS’ business units and for commercial customers.
