Common industry standards and IFBEC
Airbus Group instigated the creation of a committee with other companies within the AeroSpace and Defence Industries Association of Europe (ASD), which was in charge of developing ethical standards for acceptance and adoption by all European companies in the sector. These standards, called Common Industry Standards, were approved in June 2007 by the Board of the ASD and were sent out to all European trade associations and unions in the aerospace industry. They were signed by Airbus Group in July 2008. This commitment has been extended with the Group’s promotion of the IFBEC organisation.
In February 2013, the ETHIC Intelligence agency awarded Airbus Group a certificate on the design of its Anti-Corruption Compliance Programme.
As a second step, every Airbus Group DivisionS were awared by ETHICS Intelligence Committe an Anti-corruption Compliance System Certificate for the design and implementation of their Compliance Programme to prevent corruption.
